Advanced Placement at Superior Heights

Superior Heights students have achieved a success rate of 87% on their AP exams.

In the past 5 years, 401 students have challenged the exam successfully saving parents almost half a million dollars of university tuition!

The province of Ontario averages a 79% success rate.

The Advanced Placement Program offers students flexibility and challenge while also providing credit for college and university programs around the world.

Advanced Placement is an internationally recognized program that is supported by 16,000 schools worldwide. In Canada, there are 571 schools participating in advanced Placement.

Students who successfully complete AP examinations can obtain credit for university courses at most institutions including Algoma University, the University of Western Ontario, University of Waterloo, Lakehead University, and the University of Ottawa.

Advanced Placement allows students to experience university-level curriculum without sacrificing high school marks—if anything, the enrichment provides the students with an enhanced opportunity to excel in traditional high school classes.
